Technical and log information

Like any website, requests to this site generate technical information that our hosting provider processes in order to serve pages and protect the service. This typically includes IP address, browser and device information, the page requested, and the time of the request.

We use a short-lived, in-memory rate limit on form submissions, derived from the network address of the request. This is a spam and abuse control; it is not used to build a profile of you and is not retained as a record.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising, profiling or analytics cookies, and it does not include third-party tracking scripts. Because no non-essential cookies are set, no cookie consent banner is required.

If we introduce analytics or any other non-essential cookie in future, we will update this policy and implement an appropriate consent mechanism before doing so.

Purpose and legal basis for processing

We process the information above for the following purposes:

• Responding to enquiries. Where you submit a form, we use your details to reply and to have the resulting conversation. Our basis is your consent, together with our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

We do not use enquiry information for automated decision-making, and we do not add enquirers to a marketing list without asking separately.

We use a small number of providers to operate this website. They process information on our instructions and only as needed to deliver their service.

• Hosting. The site is deployed on a managed cloud hosting platform, which processes request and log data in order to serve pages.
• Email delivery. Form submissions are delivered to our inbox through a transactional email provider, which processes the contents of your submission in order to deliver it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

International transfers

Our hosting and email providers may process data in countries outside the United Kingdom and European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on the transfer mechanisms those providers make available, such as standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

Data retention

Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as it is useful for the business relationship it relates to, and then deleted. We do not keep enquiry records indefinitely by default.

Technical and log information is retained for the shorter periods applied by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes.

Security

Information submitted through this website is transmitted over TLS. Form submissions are validated on the server, rate limited, and delivered through a transactional email provider using credentials held in managed server-side configuration.

Your rights

Subject to applicable data protection law, you have the right to ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to withdraw consent where our processing relies on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact the Projectix contact form. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Third-party platforms and API data

This policy covers information collected through this website. Where a Projectix application connects to a third-party platform on a customer’s behalf, the handling of that data is described separately on our Data & API Usage page.
